Windsurfing course for children (from 5 to 15 years of age)
5, 10 and 15 hour windsurfing courses for children from 5 to 15 years old.
Special small and lightweight sails, suitable boards and warm wetsuits allow even the youngest to surf while having fun. Our instructors have a pedagogical background and a lot of experience working with children. This is essential to make learning fun, effective and safe.
Full safety during the lessons is ensured by the training programme we have developed especially for children, which ends with handing out the " Young Windsurfer's Diploma"🙂
Each child receives a Surfer's Card from us, in which they earn stamps for their progress, and we reward them with super surfing goodies!:)
During the course we provide:
- individual care of a licensed and experienced instructor throughout the entire duration of the course
- windsurfing equipment
- a safety vest
- Dakine trapeze
- shallow and uncrowded training area
- Surfer Card, where there are prizes for collecting stamps!
- “Young Windsurfer” Diploma
- have fun and be safe!

Additional information
- If your child has already had contact with windsurfing, you can continue learning by choosing any course. Of course, we will start the classes from the level they are currently at:)
- Each course can be spread over any number of days. The dates and duration of classes are set together according to the preferences of the student:) (or his parents;)
- If you have to cancel your lesson, we will reschedule it for another day/time.
- If you wish to complete the course at a different time, we will provide you with a voucher valid indefinitely.
FAQ
At what age can my child start learning?
We teach children from the age of 5:) We have special lightweight equipment designed for children, thanks to which learning is simple and enjoyable for them - just swim!:)
Do I need to bring my own equipment for my baby?
Don't worry, the price of the course includes everything you need to learn 🙂 We provide a complete windsurfing set from the best manufacturers, a wetsuit (a special windsurfing outfit that helps maintain thermal comfort) and a life jacket.
Are there always suitable conditions for windsurfing on the Hel Peninsula?
Practically yes, about 90% of days in the season on the Peninsula there is 1 to 4 Beauforts, so it is ideal for learning. We conduct training every day. Sometimes there are days when the wind is too strong for the youngest. However, it is often the case that such conditions do not prevail throughout the day, so we can postpone the classes to another time.
Does a child have to be able to swim?
Swimming skills are not necessary, every toddler must wear a life jacket. However, we ask the instructor to inform us about this fact, he will definitely keep to very shallow water to ensure 100% safety for the toddler:)
Is learning safe?
Yes, the Bay of Puck is one of the safest places to learn windsurfing. A few hundred meters from the shore, the water is only waist-deep! The bottom is sandy, there are no stones or other hazards. In addition, our schools are located in unique, intimate places. There are no crowds on the water - we can provide children with peaceful and stress-free learning:)
