IKO Kitesurfing Assistant Instructor Course
The Kitesurfing Assistant Instructor Course (AITC) is a 5-day course covering up to 40 hours of training. It is a mandatory course before joining the Kitesurfing Instructor Course of the international IKO. IKO is the only license recognized worldwide with which you can work in any kitesurfing school:)The course program includes:
- Types of equipment and its trimming, types of safety systems, international communication signs, kite surfing right of way, water and risk assessment.
- Practical teaching classes, during which the trainer passes on the standards of teaching beginner students according to IKO principles.
About the course:
- 8 hours of classes per day (practice and theory)
- Course Leader: Michał Karski
- The course ends with the diploma of IKO Kitesurfing Assistant Instructor.
- The regular price of the course itself (without accommodation, board, etc.) is 440 euros.
- the care of a licensed and experienced instructor at all times
- in the price of the camp everything needed to learn (kitesurfing equipment from the 2020 collection, trapeze, wetsuit, lifejacket, helmet with radio communication with an instructor)
Requirements:
- age – minimum 16 years
- Swimming ability at 3N
- Registration on the IKO website (free registration at www.ikointl.com)

- the opportunity to start working in a kitesurfing school as an assistant. Future responsibilities: taking care of the safety of the spot, keeping the equipment in the best possible condition (e.g. trimming the bars), take-off and landing of kites, service of renters;

Organizers, carers
We organize windsurfing and kitesurfing camps together with BUT Tourist Services Office from Warsaw. BUT can boast 20 years of experience in organizing trips for young people, it also has an entry in the Register of Tour Operators and Tourist Agents of Mazovia Province under number 1173 and is a member of the Warsaw Chamber of Tourism. All camps are registered with the Board of Trustees. See: Certificate of registration in the Register of Tour Operators, AXA certificate, NNW insurance conditions for participants.The camp staff members are professionals with many years of experience working with young people, with current qualifications and with instructor’s qualifications in many sports fields.
Accommodation: tents, rooms!
Location: Maszoperia campingFirst option: tents. There will be 3-person igloo tents waiting for you, in which you will live with one other person. This solution provides comfort during the whole stay at our school!
Second option: rooms. For an extra charge of 200 PLN you can live in simple, 4-person (2 bunk beds) rooms in a brick building, which is located on the camp site, right next to the tents, or in 6-person brand new container rooms.
The whole camp is surrounded by a high fence, and on its premises, there is still a large common room tent, where we spend time playing games / watching movies in the evening, or just drying laundry:)
Only participants and staff have access to the camp site.
Available diets: vegetarian, gluten-free, other (on request).

Additional information
- own sleeping bag and camping mat or mattress are required
- obligatory deposit of 30 PLN (covers possible damages caused by the participants) collected on the day of departure, given back on the last day of the stay.

- form of payment: advance payment of 40% of the price of the trip within 7 days, the rest of the amount 30 days before the start of the camp
